Abstract:The Program Systems Institute of RAS is one of the leading Russian academician institutes in the area of computer science and engineering.

PSI RAS performs research and development in the following directions:

*Medical information systems
*HPC – hardware and software for supercomputers and grids
*Solutions for town and rural networks
*Sensor network technologies
*The presentation contains short introduction to the history of PSI RAS and description of the most important results obtained in the R&D directions mentioned above.
